Some recent work: cover and page spreads from
Therapy a zine collecting drawings made
as escapism from depression, stress and anxiety,
a couple of postcards sent as part of Postcard Club
and finally a panel from a 6 page comic I did for the
latest issue of Anorak Magazine.
I've also just had an update of my proper website

I've always tried to keep a balance in my work between drawing, collage, toy making etc. however recently i've found myself drawing more and more and more. The past 6 or so months have been pretty rough for me (for various reasons) and I've recently found drawing to be an incredible release of emotions and a form of therapeutic escapism. I've always been vocal about how my work is my way of having fun, so it has been pretty interesting to see it take on an alternate, albeit similar role for me. Above are a selection of these drawings which i'm collecting (along with others) in a new zine Therapy which will be published through my new small press Jazz Dad Books. Following are recent sketchbook pages, a comic about waiting, a print made for The Pendulum and a small collage I made just for me. I'm looking forward to getting back to playing, experimenting and having fun over the next few months.

I'm very pleased to announce i've been asked to
exhibit at this years Pick Me Up London as part of
their selects series. I will be exibiting a mix of
3D Models, Collages, Drawings and Prints.
Very exciting! Keep posted for more news.

I've been drawing lots recently; ideas for new projects
this year and more. From the top: 3 drawings for a book,
a comic written by my buddy Dave McMillan for a Jazz
zine we're working on, a little promo for Jazz Dad Books
my imprint i'm starting up (much more on this soon!),
some sketchbook pages, and finally bits of collage that
got turned into postcards for Postcard Club

New range of models! Aside from my collage, drawing, comics
etc. I love making 3D versions of my characters.
I tend to refer to them as my friends. From the left they
are called: Elizabeth Ann, Charlie Parker, Sam Smith,
The Mayor and Dumpy Dad. Keep an eye out for them being
on exhibit this year!

Some new and recent work! I seem to be working on lots
of bits and pieces at the moment. From the top: a gallery
drawing, sketchbook page, collage fun, a sad comic,
a 2 page comic I made for Often And Mistakes Dog Comics 2
and a comic about confidence for A Concert for Bad People,
a new collection of my short comics coming soon!

This is Sam Smith.
I’ve been drawing so much the past few months,
which has been lovely, but I’m itching to make
some more toys/models. I’ll also make
some more animations again this year!
Happy 2014 everyone.
